Picture Book Review: Ella The Pink Elephant

I loved Ella The Pink Elephant.
Honestly who could not love this elephant.
The illustrations are adorable and definitely draw the eyes with the bright colours.
Even pages containing text are nice and bright. Leaving the font still easily readable.

Ella is an elephant born in a zoo (who’s keeper happens to be a former circus clown) who gets dressed in pretty pink things.

As she gets older, and is no longer always dressed in pink we see her question love and happiness. Who will love her now that she is not in pink?
I love this book.

Ella the Pink Elephant takes on  a real issue. Tackling happiness, self confidence,  being comfortable in your own skin, able to love yourself  and making it understandable and kid friendly.

This is one of those picture books that every kid should read.
It really is a beautiful book.

The author kindly supplied two copies for review. So I’m going to give one away very soon. Keep your eyes out for it.

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. All opinions are 100% my own.
