Picture Book Review: If I Was A Bird

If I was a bird.

I loved this book. It was incredibly sweet, with full page brightly coloured illustrations.
The story centres around what a child could do or not do if they were a bird.
It  had answers that you would hear come out of the mouth of a child if you asked them about being a bird.

The story itself is  16 of the 24 pages. There are more pictures related to the book, as well as  reflective questions and a space for your child to draw their bird.

A picture book that includes the child giving them a space to be part of the magic.
Absolutely my favourite part of this book.

Also, a bird with glasses. Love it.
You can tell the author put his heart and soul into this book. That to  me is exactly the kind of book that deserves something like picture book month.

If I was a bird. I could fly around the world and not have to be afraid of heights.

What would you do if you were a bird?

Buy it on Barnes and Nobel.
